Autumn Gardens

This is the season of russet and deep red hues to warm you up as the temperature drops. The rustle of leaves appeal to the senses, and  the early darkness makes the remaining daylight hours even more precious. 

Designing for an Autumn garden is essential to give your space interest throughout the seasons, and in fact can be one of the nost beautiful times of year due to the the lower sun angle creating long shadows and greater colour contrasts.

At this time of year many plants are at their finest, below are five of my favourites.
