Suburban Serenity
A challenging site has resulted in a creative, transitional journey through and around this now delightful garden. By using bold drifts of planting and subtle terracing, the garden creates maximum impact, minimal maintenance and an atmospheric space that combines 3 distinct areas of woodland shade, drought tolerant beds, and lush terraces.
The garden has been designed with the environment in mind by using solid new oak sleepers for structural features, to retain soil, create steps and as a base for the composting area and shed. In addition a bark mulch has been used over all planted areas to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
